Choose a client by what you want to do
Choose by what you want to accomplish, not by protocol. Every guide tells you where to enter the settings, how to confirm success, and what to check first if it fails.
AI coding
Section titled “AI coding”Recommended for your first setup: Get your first ZhiFlo reply in Codex. This path covers installation, import, and a real request, ending when Codex returns OK.
- Codex: keep a separate manual ZhiFlo configuration.
- Claude Code: switch the current terminal to ZhiFlo.
- OpenCode: configure and verify ZhiFlo in OpenCode.
- OpenClaw: configure and verify ZhiFlo in OpenClaw.
- Hermes: configure and verify ZhiFlo in Hermes.
Graphical chat
Section titled “Graphical chat”- Cherry Studio: choose a model and chat in a graphical interface without using a command line.
Other compatible tools
Section titled “Other compatible tools”- CC Switch: manage ZhiFlo configurations for AI coding clients, or import manually if the portal cannot open the app.
- Generic OpenAI-compatible client: use a client not listed here that accepts a custom OpenAI service URL.
Whichever page you open, copy the full model ID from your own account first. A model name from someone else’s guide may not exist for your Token.
